Introduction

Trail Camera TAGS was designed to organize your trail camera photos by TAGS. What is a TAG? A TAG is just what is sounds like. It puts a label on a picture in which you can group these labels into useful information and collections. Look at the picture to the right. There are five TAGS that have been assigned to this photo. So when you want to pull up all pictures of your buck named No Brow, you can click on the No Brow TAG and all those TAGGED photos will be returned for your viewing.

Trail Camera TAGS also saves your photos online using Picasa Web Albums where you can have them backed up and/or you can access them from any computer or mobile phone.

Types of TAGS

We offer two types of TAGS. Camera Location TAGS allowas you to TAG your photo to where the photo was taken. Then the other type are Custom TAGS where you can enter any type of TAG name you want to organize, i.e. Deer Name, Young Bucks, Bucks Killed, etc...

Cost

There is not cost for using TAGS. It is FREE!

How does it Work?

We use Google Picasa software to upload your trail camera photos to your Picasa Web Album account. Then using our TAGS software you can then sync your photos with our database and then start TAGGING away.

Mobile Version Available

We also have a Web application that will allow you TAG your photos from your phone. Currently works with the iPhone, Palm Pre, and any Android operating system phones such as Droid, Nexus One, etc...

How do I get Started?

We are currently in private BETA right now and only accepting some requests.

  1. Download and Install Google's Picasa on your computer.
  2. Setup a Picasa Web Album account.
  3. Click here to request a BETA Trail Camera TAGS account.
  4. Use Picasa on your computer to UPLOAD photos to your Picasa Web Album account. IMPORTANT: Make sure mark Visibility for this Album to PUBLIC. View a screenshot here.
  5. Login to Trail Camera TAGS and then click the Sync Photos from Picasa to import your photo information and links.
  6. You can then enter Camera Location and Custom TAGS into your account and then start TAGGING away!
